Let the blogging begin…

Charles Kiser —  October 27, 2007 — 7 Comments

I’m Charles Kiser. I live in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. I am married to my best friend, Julie. I am the proud father of a son, Ryan.the-kiser-family.jpg Together, with friends and supporters alongside us, we’re getting ready to start a new church right in the heart of Dallas: a church that reaches out to broken and hurting people; a church that serves the poor and downtrodden; a church where people can express their doubts and frustrations, joys and aspirations; a church that radiates the hope and abundant life found in God’s work in Jesus. We want to ask God constantly, “What are you doing and how can we join you?”

The purpose of this blog is to capture the highlights of our journey in Dallas. The range of topics we’ll engage in this blog will be as all-encompassing as life in God. I’m sure we’ll dialogue about church, sports, food, family, politics and spirituality, among other things.
